The Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) is a division of the California Department of Industrial Relations that oversees and supports apprenticeship programs throughout the state. DAS works with employers, labor organizations, educational institutions, and other partners to establish and maintain apprenticeship programs that combine on-the-job training with related classroom instruction. Its goal is to ensure apprentices receive quality training and develop the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to succeed in their chosen occupations.
